About me
Photography has fascinated me since I was a little boy and got my first camera. It stayed an important part of my life, even when I decided to study psychology instead of photography. After graduating as a clinical psychologist I decided to take a leap of faith and start up a business as a photographer. I specialized in portraits of people (where my psychology background came in handy), but also in theatre photography and many other areas. After ten years of working happily for countless different clients I wanted to see what else life had in stock for me. So in the next following years I started an organic shop with my wife, worked as a Qigong- and meditation teacher, studied acupuncture and started my own practice.
But through all these years I never gave up on photography. It is part of who I am, and it always gives me joy to capture life in all its different forms. At this moment in my life it makes a perfect combination for me: being creative in photography and helping people get healthier and happier through acupuncture.
